Chairman's Corner

Convention time is fast approaching. If any member of the Independent American Party (IAP) wishes to attend a local convention, please check the convention schedule. If any member wishes to be a candidate, please attend a local convention and the State Convention in Carson City. State law mandates that the IAP select it candidates by convention. The State Convention provides for the attendees to see the Legislative Building where your chairman and other Party members lobby. We also have planned a trip into history with a visit to Virginia City, or for hackers, a golf day. The conventions are listed on our website.

Any member wishing to run for office needs to contact me ASAP and I will forward their names to the County Chairman in time for the local conventions. Last election we had 54 candidates, a record for our party, and we elected four candidates to office.

If anyone wishes to be a delegate to the National Convention (The Constitution Party), contact me. It will be held in Nashville, Tennessee.
